God is Holy
The Bible states "God is a consuming fire" (Hebrews 12:29)
The standard God will use will not be how you compare to other people, but how you compare to holiness.
God is Perfect
God demonstrates His perfection through the Ten Commandments.
Jesus said, You are to be perfect, as your heavenly Father is perfect. (Matthew 5:48)

Jesus said "If your hand or foot causes you to sin, cut it off and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life lame or maimed, rather than having two hands or two feet, to be cast into the everlasting fire.
And if your eye causes you to sin, pluck it out and cast it from you. It is better for you to enter into life with one eye, rather than having two eyes, to be cast into hell fire. Matthew 18:8,9
You've heard of hell.
People use it as a cuss word to express disgust and even compare this life to hell.
But have you ever asked the question, if God is a God of love why would anyone go there?
