Knowing, therefore, the terror of the Lord, we persuade men.  2 Corinthians 5:11
"He who believes in the Son has everlasting life; and he who does not believe the Son shall not see life, but the wrath of God abides on him."    John 3:36
“There is salvation in no one else, for there is no other name under heaven given among men by which we must be saved." Acts 4:12 (ESV)

Jesus died for lawbreakers and sinners.
"Now we believe, not because of what you said, for we ourselves have heard Him and we know that this is indeed the Christ, the Savior of the world." John  4:42
There is born to you this day in the city of David a Savior, who is Christ the Lord.
Luke 2:11
God made the ultimate payment for us breaking and falling short of His perfect standard.
In the Old Testament of the Bible, many
thousands and perhaps millions of lambs were sacrificed
as offerings which could only cover the people's sins.

Now, Jesus who is God manifest in the flesh, is holy,
perfect and without sin and has become the Lamb
sacrifice for us.  No more lambs need to be killed
because Jesus is the ultimate Lamb of God.

Jesus Christ stepped into His holy courtroom nearly 2000 years ago and paid the penalty for us breaking His perfect law.

God’s wrath and anger against sin was poured out upon Jesus Christ on a cross.
The God-man, Jesus Christ was willingly beaten, murdered and sacrificed on a cross to die for yours and my sins committed against Himself.

“He was wounded for our transgressions; He was crushed for our iniquities; upon Him was the
chastisement that brought us peace, and with His
stripes we are healed.”   Isaiah 53:5 (ESV)
No appeasement, no bribes, no charity,  no religious
activities, and no religion of any kind can pay for sin.
And to complete the love payment as our Savior, Jesus
Christ conquered sin and death when He rose from the
grave after three days.  Jesus Christ is alive today and
the tomb where He was buried is empty!

"How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation?" Hebrews 2:3a
God our Savior showed us His kindness and love.  He saved us not because of the good things we did, but because of His mercy...because of what Jesus Christ our Savior did. Titus 3:5,6 NLT
